About DJ TigerCurrent residencies: Friday Night House Party LIVE - http://sceedle.com - 7-9pm CST Club 900 Chicago - 5941 W Chicago Ave - Chicago, IL - Tuesday & Thursday night (Hip-Hop) Club 900 Chicago - 5941 W Chicago Ave - Chicago, IL - 1st Saturdays (House/Disco) Having the benefit of being born right before the house music era started, Sean Paul has always been dancing to some form of house music. All props go out to WBMX 102.7 in Chicago for providing that experience! That was the 80's (Tiger was born in the 70's by the way!). Sean Paul worked as an on-air Radio DJ at WSNC-FM 90.5 for the 4 years he was in college working various shows such as the Quiet Storm, Morning Drive and The Saturday Night House Party. Now fast forward to 1996. Back in Chicago from a college at Winston Salem State, Tiger began reminising about the wild club times he had while in school listening to DJ Sedrick of DC and the Saturday Night House Party shows he facilited on the radio. That inpired him to try his hand at DJ'ing. After hours and hours of practicing with friend Cedric, he started to develop a skill for blending beats and learned about the seemingly endless forms of dance music and how to work with those genres. DJ Tiger's first live event was at a family reunion @ Dan Ryan Woods Forest Preserve (a park). He finally began to see and feel how the music moves people, make them happy and transport them to another place. Dj Tiger began recording his mixes on CD to make his music more portable and thats when 'R House Records was born. 'R House Records is a record company built on the dreams of 3 DJ's. DJ Tiger, DJ Reese Javier and DJ Ceddie Cedd (friend Cedric). In 2002 the company made its first appearance at Chicago's Gay Pride picnic with just DJ Tiger, a cd player playing one of his mixes and some barbequed chicken wings. A number of people approached him inquiring about where they may purchase a copy of the CD. The original 'R House Records website was created. Every year since then 'R House Records and 'R House Entertainment have been making an appearance at Chicago's Gay Pride and every year the crowds get larger, the music gets better and more sales come in! 2008 DJ Tiger took his love and passion for House to the club scene, DJing at such places as Jeffrey Pub, Club 900 Chicago and soon The Prop House. Its a slow progressing story really, but keep checking back because as they say... "Its Not Ova..."
